Mary Ann empowers individuals and teams to skillfully communicate, engender trust and hold each other accountable to their commitments so that they can successfully achieve their goals. The foundation for her work includes Commitment-based Management (CbM) (listening for opportunities, skillfully coordinating, and respectfully managing with accountability) and Executive/Leadership Presence (improving one’s ability to influence, engage and lead others while being responsive to change), so that clients can articulate bigger possibilities and deliver on them.
Mary Ann’s ability to listen deeply to her client’s concerns, clearly identify strengths and areas of development, and compassionately speak to what limits an individual or team’s performance, allows her to partner with clients to co-design and execute for exceptional results, as judged by their stakeholders.
Her coaching clients include Senior Vice Presidents, Directors and Senior Managers in start-up, emerging, midsize and Fortune 500 companies. Mary Ann has worked in the UK, China, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Switzerland, Brazil, Spain, and Poland to train and mobilize teams, and travels in the US to deliver leadership training and coaching programs.

Mary Ann’s corporate experience includes a 17-year career in sales, marketing and product management in the life sciences industry. She has worked with teams of scientists and engineers to develop and manage technical product lines. As a strategic account manager in a $3.4B asset management company, Mary Ann was recognized as the top performer in the country for the life science division, exceeding her quota by $10M.
